Adding a 18% tip is not acceptablea, tip is voluntary especially at a buffet. I will not be back unless this 18% is removed. St Albans is just as good and they don't force their customers to give a automatic 18% tip
The customer service was poor, food was mediocre at best. They didnt mention the 18% charge for waitress on top of the built in tip, choose my tip for me when i go to pay, and they charged insane amounts. It was near 20 bucks for 1 person and not even worth 10. I will not be returning ever
There were good selections of food and freshly prepared. The salt and pepper shrimp were the best comparing to other buffets. The waitresses were very attentive, 18% tips is fair.
Food was fresh and hot for the most part. There were many options, all the standard Chinese buffet fare. Our waitress was attentive and checked in with us several times. One thing to note is that gratuity is automatically included on all orders, including take-out orders. So the price you actually pay is about 18% higher than what's advertised. I think most people are accustomed to tipping when they go out to eat, but the restaurant still should have been more up front about the pricing instead of springing it on people after they've already eaten.
The food was great. Waitresses were attentive. I do not agree with the 18% gratuity. 18% gratuity is too much for the service you receive in a Chinese restaurant. They were upfront about gratuity being added, so we could have left, but we didn’t. We will not return.
Food was above average to really good, depending on the dish. Staff was great. I don’t really like them deciding on the tip amount for me without asking me first, but we’d go back.
It's.. a buffet.Theres a cut robot that goes around, everything taste fresh and it's large and clean but I think it's a bit overpriced and the food isn't as good as the china buffet in Brattleboro. After 15 to 20 minutes of eating the lady placed down the check. I felt rushed.Nice for the family but I would pass this one. It's okay if you are up north and need a buffet in a pinch.
Great for the whole family. They are upfront about the included tip so there is no reason to take off stars for that. For 17 dollars per person, plus tip, there is no reason to complain. Food was fine but you get what you pay for. Great selection. Cheaper for kids under ten too.
Went in at 1:05 for lunch and was told they were serving dinner which is more expensive. I asked what time lunch ran til, was told 1:15. I asked them why I was being charged dinner prices at 1:05 if lunch went to 1:15 and was informed "manager already wrote sign" ok...then they hit me with an 18% gratuity charge, I had no choice but to pay. When I went up to pay I saw the sign about gratuity, but when I walked in the server was standing right in front of it so I couldn't see it and had no idea until after we were finished eating. I felt very taken for some shitty, dried up Chinese food.
